some thoughts...consider them free...
Miami stinks.....its not so much the u21 thing...cause i can get around that, its just that there is such a eehhhhh mood to stuff happening here...makes me down....i mean the thing is that always the nights are what to do what to do....and nothing creative comes around....i mean save for a few sure bets like poker nights at luis's or rodrigo's miami is a bore.
and dont tell me the clubs rock...i know they do, im sure they do....pay $10 for parking.....put down 20$ just to get in.....get the fuck out of here.....and then pay $7 a beer......i mean you can do it once in a while but what a wallet drainer...and usually the girls are frigid, nemo's word, meaning that they dont look at you lest they came with you....lame ass shit...so really what can you do....
so now that im done on that let me move on,
im really pleased with myself, this semester i did the least work yet, and through sheer brilliance and studying the night before exams i managed to pull of a nice little feat.....5 A's....thats right......STRAIGHT A's....first time i did it at UM, or even in highschool....i'm shocked cause i had the hardest classes this year so it was unexpected at the start and even at midterms, but i pulled it off.
chicago is amazing. a real city. more importantly a european city. invests alot of money into parks, museums, public transportation, and general city beautification, which is a nice sight...i mean the city looks faboulous, and im sure i mis-spelt that, though it was cold. Very Cold. 5 degress farenheit. To je minus 15 celsijusa tata. I really enjoyed the museum's, the Art Institute was really nice, they did not have alot of famous works but i did find something i quite like "Time Transfixed" which is now my new background.
The world cup is fast approaching, less then 6 months away. I'm delighted to say that i will be in attendance, with some luck on obtaining tickets. Nemo will be there with me, which will be intresting, nemo and me together for about 2 weeks alone....some nice bonding, some tasting of fine german beer, and hopefully some foregin girls cause the german chicks are a bit manly for my taste. In any case the propsed matches are Usa vs Italy, Usa vs Czech Republic, Croatia vs Brazil, Croatia vs Japan, Croatia vs Australia, and then as a bounus we would like to see the propsed fixture of the #2 seed from Croatia's group (most likely Croatia, as Brazil is Brazil) play the #1 seed from the USA group, which can be Italy, Czech's, Yanks, or even Ghana....and being the confident Croats that we are we belive we can get past that...and so we would like to also purchase a ticket to the Quater Final...
so this means its time to start saving for me, cause this summer adventure will cost...and about 2 weeks later im going to Motovun, and im planning to go down to Hvar to meet up with a friend, so it will be quite a summer, and i shall be a broke man upon my return but rich in memories :)
