Extremes

So the bank that gifted me an internship over the summer (didnt apply or nothing and got the job) is now not even wanting to hear from me. Are they that offended that i went and spent the summer abroad, and was in Rome when i heard i had the job....i mean its the eternal city, and then they tell me i can get 3K and great experience, naturally to leave early would cost 400$+ and would ruin the summer plans.....but the benefit wouldnt be that bad....

But it was never a choice, to leave before even dani...to just dump on my dad like that, and miss out on all the potential adventures....no way.

But now they dont reply to emails, i called and left a message with a secretary and nothing....imma keep trying, i watched 'wall street' and he talks to Gecko after the 60+ phone calls....so who knows...

Oil sucks, Gas sucks, infact it all sucks.....im working hard on convincing the mother on purchasing a Prius or some other sort of 40+ MPG veichle, as gas will be above 3$ by tomm (and thats the cheap gas, not the premium shit) and i expect it to hit about 3.5$ by christmas....so in reality a Prius or any such hybrid is no longer a waste (meaning it takes to long to recoup higher price) plus im saving enviroment.

Oh yeah....thank you BUSH....you fucking moron! (not for hurricane but for general inflation, high gas prices and all those lovely caskets coming to iraqi and american families)

Blown Away

Not by Miami, but by the Hurricane. It sucks for alot of people, who lost power and had extensive damage to their property and assets. For me it was blissful.

I hate to say it but i slept like a baby, i was tired from the first real day of school (classes from 9:30 am till 4:45, and a break from 10:45 till 12:30) and so when i got home, btw this in itslef is a story, alex took me home, as i figured it be nice to leave the car for my mom at the metro, but she was already home........so i was fucked, and it was already pouring like hell, and not wishing to make alex drive again, i took an umbrella and went to the bus stop, which i noticed a bus was coming and i ran my ass off to catch it, and got on, when i noticed it was the wrong bus.....whatever...i got the car back home...but as i was saying, dead tired, and at about 8:45pm i started reading TIME and by 9 pm i was knocked out (i was also tired from the assholes at EarthLink who cut my line two weeks early and are pretending its a modem problem to get me to resign up, word to the wise, earthlink SUCKS!) and i slept.

When i awoke at 10am on friday it was great, i was in an air conditioned eviroment, and even my lawyer appointment was canceled, what bliss, so i turned over and went back to sleep.

I think i slept so well, purely because there was such chaos outside, and well that seemed to sooth me. I'm not an evil person, but not having internet at home pissed me off, and i guess the impending hurricane made me consider the fact that its likely i wont have power soon either, alas something good happened to me with regards to power and technology.

The only thing that sucked about the hurricane is that it destroyed all the beautiful things on the UM campus like the trees that look like they are hundreds of years old....which was reallly the highlight of the campus's aesthetic pleasures as the buisnnes school and memorial buildings look like crap from the outside, you would think the school of architecture would of had some say in planning, though thier own building is propbably the most repulsive on campus.
