At what happened tonite...
The italians win...
Zidane gets sent off for a headbutt that i wish wasnt aimed at the chest but rather the nose, cause if there is one footballer who deserved it, it was Marco Materazzi, the inter scum, the dirty motherfucker who once did a drop kick on shevchenko in a Milan vs Inter preaseason game.
What i want to know is why did Zizou do what he did...i am sure there was a reason, most likely a racist comment that touched Zidane deeply, beacuse that is the only thing that unnerves this man, did you see his penalty, who else has the audacity to shoot a penalty like that in a world cup final...only zizou.
And the italians, what a primadonna team of divers and cheats, it seems all their bitching after 2002 got the refs to overlook their dispicable game, award them penalty's when there are no fouls, and in general not punish htem for spending so much time diving, or faking injury's. The best is when the camera shows no contact, the italian cant even move, the strecher takes him off, he spends 10 seconds there, and within a moments is back on the field running like nothing ever happened...scum.....fucking scum.
The Italians and the Portugese have perfected this art, and i think that we need video evidence, that after the game is looked at, and for every time a player dives blatantly, the commission flat out bans him for 3 games, no appeal no nothing. I bet that the Italians would play a game with 9 men from the start as they would lose the other 14 in the first match, due to diving. Pathetic. And lets not even start on the Portugese, luckily i love seeing Cristiano Ronaldo Cry....so i will always watch Portugal lose, with joy.
I never hated italia, always loved calcio, the players, the style, but i can honestly say that I HATE THE AZZURRI!....i wish them all the worse...and their only positive quality's are
Fabio Cannavaro my pick for player of the tournament since the semi's and still is. A man who finally showed us he is the best, on the biggest stage, and has rivaled his perfomances from Euro 2000, where against Holland in the Semi Final he earned the only 4th ever '9' rating from the Gazzetta Dello Sport. Im happy for Fabio Cannavaro. For winning the World Cup on his 100th game, for showing kids everywhere that a defender can be the best, and go 6 games without a single yellow card. BRAVO!
Andrea Pirlo the best midfielder of the tournament, pure class, amazing passes, such poise and control...legend :)
as for zizou...you are still the greatest ever in my eyes, though next time take out his nose or his balls...Legend!
P.s. the post preceeding this is about the film festival which i applied for and got rejected, the emotions were not that strong upon rejection. But i figured it gave me a chance to express how it can feel and does when its a big thing :) plus it was fun to write it :)
oh and....ROGER FEDERER IS A FUCKING LEGEND!!!!!!

Zizu won the title BEST PLAYER and that is sastisfaction.
Italians are not world champions but they deserve OSCAR for best stunt performance.

the only reason that zidane won best player of the mundial was because they had already picked him before the final game... i doubt that it would have been that way if they would have voted after the headbutt...
zidane is a great player and no one doubts that... but to put his team in jeopardy by getting a red card is ridiculous... name calling, ugly remarks whatever, its part of the game... obviously as a human being he has some faults--- he pulled something similar in the 1998 world cup... look it up... he obviously has anger problems... but if he would have been more worried about his team and the possibility of winning he wouldnt have let some remarks about his sister effect his game and his chances of winning...
italia won because when it came down to it they lasted longer... although france was attacking they couldnt put in that goal.. and the goal is all that counts... sorry, but if lasting longer makes you the world champ, so it is, italia is the world champs.
Name calling and ugly remarks are NOT PART OF THE GAME.
Zidane won player of the tournament because it was a career award, and a tribute to his phenomenal game against Brazil.
I am very aware of what he pulled in 98, and that was wrong.
Italia did not last longer, they shot on PK better, and that hardly makes them deserving, after they had no real chances since their equalizer....anti-football won that day
the fact of the matter is that he lowered his teams chances of winning by getting himself kicked out. you seem to be ignoring the fact that as good as he might be what he did was wrong and he let his teammates down.
