Storms, Snow, Tips

So post Katrina any storm that comes through the Atlantic is now a life and death situation....for 2 more storms then it goes back to normal. I remember 2 weeks ago for Katrina classes where not cancelled till 6 pm that day....i dorve home at 5 pm and could not see 3 feet infront of my car...and most people lost power by 9. The university fucked up, as did everyone in South Florida, so now to make up for fucking up back then they are paranoid so a storm that wasnt even gonna touch us has classes cancelled at 12 pm and no school tommorow, despite the storm being well wide of us.

Im not complaining, i had 4 classes today, and i loved the sleeping in till 1pm, its really a lovely thing to sleep as long as possible, or untill ones mother waltzes in a wakes you to offer you a juice/smoothie type of drink.

But what pisses me off is that they will do this twice more, and then forget about it all over again, and the big one wont come soon, but when it comes again, it will destory everyting cause people will go back to being relaxed and carefree about hurricanes.


I bought a ticket to Chicago, i blow out of Ft. Lauderdale on the morning of the 15th of December, and blow back in on the 20th around midnight, i am just hoping it snows in Chicago cause that is all that i want to see, snow, that pure white blanket covering the city. Plus i get to meet all of Tristan's Chicago mates, size em up, and see what the MidWest is all about...id love to catch a Bulls game while there.

Now then for those of you looking for stock tips or market advice......Nokia and American Eagle (yes i know they crashed 12% today, but they hit the low, and will bounce back very nicely tommorow)
